چکیده

Soil moisture is an essential factor that influences agricultural productivity and hydrological processes. estimation using field detection methods takes time challenging. However, Remote Sensing (RS) Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, soil parameters become easier to detect. In microwave remote sensing, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data helps retrieve from more considerable depths because of its high penetration capability the illumination power light source. This study aims process SAR Sentinel-1A estimate Water Cloud Model (WCM). Many physical empirical models have been developed determine sensing platforms. gives accurate results. this study, WCM model used for mixed crop types. The experimental was determined in-situ samples collected various areas. backscattering values corresponding different sampling locations were derived Sentinel data. Decomposition Methods for the Estimation of Bare Soil Moisture Using Fully Polarimetric Sar Data

Soil moisture plays a critical role in the surface energy balance at the soil-atmosphere interface [4]. Using radar backscattering to retrieve soil moisture is a method of major concern due to its sensitivity to soil moisture [14] [15].In the past decades, many empirical, semi-empirical and physical models that relate the measured 0 to volumetric soil moisture mv have been carried out[14][15]. ...

Polarimetric Sar Model for Soil Moisture Estimation over Vineyards at C-band

In this paper we propose a two-component polarimetric model for soil moisture estimation on vineyards suited for C-band radar data. According to a polarimetric analysis carried out here, this scenario is made up of one dominant direct return from the soil and a multiple scattering component accounting for disturbing and nonmodeled signal fluctuations from soil and short vegetation. We propose a...

Pol-SAR time series for soil moisture estimation under vegetation

In this paper the problem of soil moisture estimation under vegetation is investigated. Pol-SAR inversion algorithms are developed and applied on the multi-temporal AGRISAR data set from 2006 to investigate their potential and limitations over time. Modifications of the model based Freeman decomposition are used to decompose the scattering contributions and to invert the surface and dihedral sc...

Optimum Ensemble Classification for Fully Polarimetric SAR Data Using Global-Local Classification Approach

In this paper, a proposed ensemble classification for fully polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (PolSAR) data using a global-local classification approach is presented. In the first step, to perform the global classification, the training feature space is divided into a specified number of clusters. In the next step to carry out the local classification over each of these clusters, which cont...

Inversion of Electromagnetic Models for Bare Soil Parameter Estimation from Multifrequency Polarimetric SAR Data

The potentiality of polarimetric SAR data for the estimation of bare soil geophysical parameters (i.e., roughness and soil moisture) is investigated in this work. For this purpose, two forward models available in the literature, able to simulate the measurements of a multifrequency radar polarimeter, have been implemented for use within an inversion scheme. A multiplicative noise has been consi...
